In Achilles parlance, running means many things, including conventional running, walking, wheeling, or utilizing orthotics/prosthetics. In other words, it’s any form of locomotion that gets you through the route.
Amputee Blade Runners Health insurance companies have declared running prosthetics as “not medically necessary” and do not cover their cost. Our organization helps amputees keep an active lifestyle by providing this vital equipment free of charge. Our goal is to provide a running prosthesis to one athlete in all 50 states. We currently have athletes in 31 states who serve as ambassadors to other amputees.
Pedigree Foundation PEDIGREE Foundation is working to find a solution to the problem of the millions of homeless dogs in this country. Through our grant
programs, we support organizations that save the lives of dogs that would otherwise be lost.

Our hope is that we would never have to turn a cancer patient away from a much needed, relaxing getaway!
