Dreaming of those "tank top arms"? Want to feel stronger, more confident and healthy? Fleet Feet's Tabata program is the place to be! This program offers several sessions of cardio and strength training in a dynamic and challenging class led by Fleet Feet Coach Olivia Folmar. Tabata Time is perfect for everyone from the beginner to the veteran!
Benefits of H.I.I.T. training:
High intensity interval training has been proven to increase both your aerobic and anaerobic systems more effectively than longer, moderately intense workouts. Tabata training results in increased endurance and strength and is a wonderful and quick way to cross train, while burning more fat and making you look leaner than an hour of aerobic activity like running on the treadmill.
When and Where: Mondays starting July 7th -Aug 25th, 6:30 am Fleet Feet Brentwood and 6:30pm Fleet Feet Green Hills
Cost: $100 for 8 weeks and $85 if already signed up for another Fleet Feet training program. Drop-in participants can pay $15 per session
What the workouts will look like:
•10 minute group warm up
•4-20 minute Tabata workout consisting of 20 seconds of high intensity work and 10 seconds of rest for 4 minute mini-workouts. Allow 1 full minute of rest in between mini-workouts
• 5 minute cool down stretch
What participants must bring to each class:
Exercise mat (like a yoga mat)
