Christi Beth & Matt Adams

Who says nothing good happens after midnight? Matt and I met at a New Year's Eve party and were able to strike up a conversation about our his & hers Timex Ironman watches. At the time, I was running Division I track & cross country and he was a triathlon maniac - the perfect excuse to "go for a run sometime" (aka: date).

Fast forward 6 years later and here we are owning a specialty running & walking shop!  We know we have the greatest job in the world - sharing our expertise and passion for fitness to the Nashville community and our loyal fans in surrouding states!  Along with an amazing staff of 10 full-time employees, we work incredibly hard to provide the best information and unmatched customer service. Our desire is to help you practice a happy & healthy lifestyle!

Drew Jones

If there is one employee that seems to drink in and enjoy every aspect of running, it would be this man.  Drew was a collegiate athlete who took up running as a way to stay in shape and blow off steam upon taking his first desk job.  He immediately fell in love with the sport, and has since completed over 75 races, including 8 half marathons and one New York City Marathon.  In fact, his enthusiasm for the sport is so great, he gave up that desk job to surround himself with all things running!  You can find Drew patiently fitting customers, rallying at Fleet Feet Fun Runs, and getting up before the sun at Speed Sessions.

Jenn Short

When you enter the store, you can’t miss Jenn’s infectious laughter and warm greeting. Whether beginner walker or experienced marathoner, your feet are in good hands with her! Jenn is a patient problem solver - anxious to care for and educate each of our customers on proper fitting shoes, apparel, sports bras and injury solutions. Jenn is currently working at the store full-time as well as pursuing her master’s degree in social work.  Jenn's favorite fruit is pineapple.

ryan snellen

After taking up soccer at the age of 5, Ryan reluctantly tried his hand at running as an eleven-year-old, and has never looked back.  He went on to attend Belmont with an athletic scholarship, where he ran for 5 years and accumulated a pile of honors.  Since then, he has continued to pursue his running goals and recently placed third in the Country Music 1/2 Marathon, his first 13.1 race!  You don't have to know Ryan for long to see that he is a true runner in every sense of the word.  It is truly his identity and passion in life.  In addition to attending to the needs of customers, Ryan can also be found sweating it out at Speed Sessions, leading the pack at the weekly store fun runs, and of course, racing.

Jonathan Warren

Referred to in the store as "The Warrenator", Jonathan embodies and delivers friendly patient, and careful customer service to everyone who walks in the door.  Jonathan truly has a passion for wellness, and will soon finish his studies in massage therapy.  That knowledge and expertise translates naturally into his work at Fleet Feet.  When not fitting customers, Jonathan is always willing to lend a hand with whatever needs to be done.  He can often be found helping out at sponsored events or leading stretches with our No Boundaries participants.

Tammy Sanders

Tammy is a Nashville native who retired her track spikes upon graduating high school and did not run again for 16 years!  After running her first half marathon at Tom King in 2005 she has been hooked ever since.  To date, she's completed three full marathons, nine halfs, one triathlon, two duathlons, a century, and numerous other races. At the 2009 St. Jude Memphis marathon, she ran a personal best and qualified for the Boston marathon! After informally training folks for the Country Music 1/2 in 2008, Tammy said farewell to her office cubicle and joined the Fleet Feet crew! Today you can find her mapping out a training run, creating a window display for the store, or convincing someone to train - in addition to fitting customers for the perfect shoes!

 Matthew Blankenship

Before Fleet Feet, you could find Matthew (or Matty B as he is often called at the store) up before dawn preparing coffee at Starbucks, not on a morning run. You have probably also seen him at the YMCA scanning your Y card or even at the Mac Authority selling computers and iPods. After trading in his Starbucks green apron for a fitting stool at Fleet Feet, Matty B has embraced FITLOSOPHY and is committed to getting people off the couch and across finish lines by making sure that they are in the right shoes, socks, and inserts.

Christa Coppin

Since the day she was old enough, Christa has been doing something athletic.  She grew up participating in everything from softball to cheerleading, but her true love has always been track and field.  Excelling in the pole vault through college on scholarship, this Belmont grad is still pursuing new athletic endeavors.  Christa completed two half marathons in 2009, and can offer sound advice to other runners about reaching their goals.  She is dedicated to finding the perfect shoe for each individual customer.  Whether you are a walker, runner, or just need a comfortable and supportive pair of shoes, Christa is eager make your feet happy and put a smile on your face

Jan Sloan

Jan is a native Nashvillian with three children and one grandchild.  After working in banking for many years, Jan became a certified personal trainer.  After running several 5ks and 10ks, she completed her first half marathon in 2004.  Since then, she has finished six more half marathons and one full marathon.  This background now helps her provide customers with properly fitted running shoes and offer advice on everything from training to injury prevention.  Jan loves walking, jogging, and cycling, though running is her favorite activity.  You can now find Jan fitting customers with joy and hospitality, encouraging them, and infecting them with her love of running.
