When it's cold and blustery outside, you know it's time for Winter Speed Sessions! Don't let the name scare you off. If you can complete a 2-mile run then you're an excellent candidate. Our training program is a great way to cross the finish line of your 5k, 10k, 1/2 marathon or marathon faster.
The cost is $50 and includes:

Does running or walking a mile seem impossible to you? Have you had the goal of training for a 5k on your bucket list? Would you like to be a part of a group that fosters accountability in a fun and friendly environment?
Our "couch to 5K" training focuses on beginners, but all levels of walkers and runners are welcome. The program is structured to help you cross the finish line of your first 5K in 10 weeks. Along the way we provide you with motivation to keep you moving, guidance and advice, weekly group training runs or walks, and educational clinics on topics such as proper nutrition, choosing the right gear, and avoiding injury. Plus, you’ll have the camaraderie of others just like you.
Spring 2010 Program:
Info Meetings: Tuesday, April 6th at 6:30pm or Thursday, April 15th at 6:30pm - You will have the chance to meet other participants, your coaches and your mentors!
Program Kickoff (ie: First Workout): Thursday, April 29th at 6:30pm
Our fall program will begin either late August or early September with the target race yet to be announced.
2009 Participants completed the Ellie's Run for Africa 5k in June and the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure 5k in October. Visit www.noboundariestraining.com for an overview of this nationwide program!

Saturday, January 9, 2010, at 7:00 am at the Fleet Feet store, we officially kicked off our Country Music Half and Full Marathon training program. This group is for runnners, walkers, and run/walkers of all paces and experience levels.
Brooks is the official apparel and shoe vendor for the race and they are also our official training group sponsor!
Our training program includes:
Training schedules for beginner and advanced runners & walkers
Mapped courses with fluids provided at all workouts
Weekly informational e-mail updates
Experienced coaches and pace leaders
Weekly group training

The summer agenda focuses on training for distances ranging from 1-5 miles. The entry fee is only $50 and includes personalized paces, coaching, weekly emails, a technical tee, all the fluids you can drink, and a great time with other runners!
Tuesday morning workouts will take place at Christ Presbyterian Academy @ 6:00 am. Evening training is at Hillsboro High School @ 6:00 pm.
