Do you have a fall goal race in mind? Our fall marathon and 1/2 marathon training begins on Saturday, September 11th. This training program will target the Nashville 1/2 Marathon on November 13, the St. Jude Memphis 1/2 and full Marathons and the Huntsville Marathon.
This training will be goal oriented for folks wanting to improve their race times, set a new PR or complete a new distance. Speed training will be involved as well as goal coaching. The first 250 registered participants will receive a training log, mesh shoe bag and a pair of Asics arm warmers. We will meet on Saturday mornings for our long runs with routes and water provided. Meeting locations will vary throughout Nashville and Williamson County.
Training for the Nashville 1/2 Marathon: be prepared to run 6 miles the first day of training.
Training for the Memphis 1/2 Marathon: be prepared to run 4 miles the first day of training.
Training for the Memphis or the Huntsville Marathons: be prepared to run 10-12 miles the first day of training.

Coaching, Camaraderie, and Motivation to run or walk your first 5K!
Does running or walking a mile seem impossible to you? Have you had the goal of training for a 5k on your bucket list? Would you like to be a part of a group that fosters accountability in a fun and friendly environment?
Couch to 5k training focuses on beginners, but all levels of walkers and runners are welcome. The program is structured to help you cross the finish line of your first 5K in 10 weeks. Along the way we provide you with motivation to keep you moving, guidance and advice, weekly group training runs or walks, and educational clinics on topics such as proper nutrition, choosing the right gear, and avoiding injury. Plus, you’ll have the camaraderie of others just like you.
Our fall program kicks off Thursday, September 16th at 6:30pm at the River Park pavilion on Concord Road for the first day of training for the December 4th Jingle Bell Run in downtown Franklin. Plan on attending an information meeting on Thursday, September 2nd at 6:30pm in our store and also meet your coaches and mentors.
Program cost is $75 which includes your race fee and a New Balance technical shirt, along with the 10 week training schedule, weekly group workouts and experienced coaching. Click HERE to register. Registration is only online.

Saturday, January 9, 2010, at 7:00 am at the Fleet Feet store, we officially kicked off our Country Music Half and Full Marathon training program. This group was for runnners, walkers, and run/walkers of all paces and experience levels. Registration closed with 500 participants! Brooks was the official apparel and shoe vendor for the race and they were also our official training group sponsor!

Don't let the name scare you off. If you can complete a 2-mile run then Summer Speed Sessions are for you. Our annual summer training program is a great way to cross the finish line faster.
The summer agenda focuses on training for distances ranging from 1-5 miles. The entry fee is only $50 and includes personalized paces, coaching, weekly emails, a technical tee, all the fluids you can drink, and a great time with other runners!
Tuesday morning workouts will take place at Christ Presbyterian Academy @ 6:00 am. Evening training is at Hillsboro High School @ 6:00 pm.
