SPRING 2019 TRAINING PROGRAMS

Spring 2019 Half Marathon Training

  • Beginner friendly for runners and walkers
  • Must be able to comfortably run, walk or run/walk 4 miles by January 12th with weekly mileage of 10 miles
  • All pace levels are welcome
  • Schedule will allow flexibility for beginner and advanced

Spring 2019 Marathon Training

  • Must be able to comfortably run 10 miles by January 12th
  • All pace levels are welcome
  • Weekly mileage should be close to 25 miles a week when training begins

Speed Sessions

  • 10-week structured training plan
  • Must be able to run two miles without stopping
  • Personalized workout based on two mile time trial
  • Designed to help better a previous race time
  • Weekly mileage should currently be ten miles or more

No Boundaries 5K/10K

  • Walkers welcome
  • Accountability to start and stick with an exercise plan
  • No experience necessary
  • Learn to run using a run/walk method
  • Beginner-friendly program
  • Sponsored by New Balance

Yoga For Runners

  • 60 minute yoga sessions led by Core Power Yoga
  • Focusing on areas that can most benefit runners
  • Great for recovery during training
  • Suitable for all ages and abilities

Trail Training

  • Half Marathon, Marathon and 50 mile options
  • Personalized training
  • Must be able to comfortably run 10 miles on the road to train for a Marathon
  • Must be able to run 4 miles comfortably to train for a half
  • All training on trails
  • Highly addictive
